A critical systems implementation was over budget and behind schedule, generating such extreme discord with an outside vendor that the project had stalled, and both sides were concerned about litigation. The client asked CCA to help.
Reducing conflict was the first step. To work through the causes of conflict and find ways to move the project forward, CCA facilitated a full day, offsite mediation session with the entire project team. Having diffused the conflict, CCA was then able to assist the client with process improvement, project management, and meeting facilitation.
Conflict was reduced on all fronts, the systems implementation resumed, and litigation was averted. Key players are working together rather than against one another.
