21 Jan CCA helps address difficult behaviors to deliver business results
A new executive joined a senior team. Her knowledge, experience, and capability in delivering results were excellent, but her style alienated supervisors, peers, direct reports, and stakeholders.
A CCA consulting psychologist conducted a 360° assessment and used the results to design a targeted coaching engagement. The CCA coach met with the executive over a six-month period to achieve the agreed-upon goals. The executive began soliciting and responding to feedback from colleagues, and gained a better awareness for and understanding of the impact of her words and actions.
The executive gained the insight to repair and rebuild her relationships within the organization and to appreciate the importance of those relationships in achieving results. She has learned to modulate her style to adapt to both the culture and specific individuals. The organization has retained a valuable producer and enhanced her ability to contribute to the team.
